It's possible and desirable to love God and one's neighbor with all one's heart and yet courageously decline to drink the Biblical Kool-Aid that flows through our times. It is vital to reject the fear system that supports war, the plundering of our U.S. treasury and the forces that would cultivate a Soviet-style secrecy in our governmental affairs. Americans must let go of all our associations of God and hell and begin to cleanse our minds with honesty and humility. Hell is a human-created state of mind that ultimately manifests as war and the unequal distribution of resources.
Jesus is available to help with this cleansing of the mind. Hell is not a thought of God and is not consistent with Jesus' teaching. Jesus gives us a simple and bold, useful and direct way of living in A Course in Miracles. The Course teaches: There is nothing to fear. Please join us each Wednesday evening on the front porch from 7 - 8:30 PM at 1911 W. Cleveland Avenue in Spokane for our Study Group. We are focusing on the Workbook from A Course in Miracles. The group is free of charge and open to all. This is an open group which you are invited to attend on any Wednesday. You don't need to attend each week, but can drop in when and as often as you're able.
